DOCTORATE
One credit requires 15 classroom hours.
A three-credit course requires 45 classroom hours. For each credit hour earned on-campus, and equal amount of off-campus work shall be required.
Doctorate Degree Requirements:
- Requires a master’s degree with a 3.00 GPA for acceptance
- Requires 30 semester hours credit with 3.0 GPA beyond the master’s degree. (No more than 1/3 of the hours may come from the dissertation. Courses from the curriculum will be decided by the President, the Dean of Academic Affairs, and the assigned Doctorate Advisor.)
- Requires a graduate-level dissertation of at least 100 typed pages comprising no more than 9 credit hours.
- Requires an oral exam or defense of the dissertation.
Limits: No more than 10% of credits may come from other institutions and must correspond with courses in EIM’s curriculum. No more than 20% of the credit hours.
