Ezekiel Institute of Ministry

On February 15, 2003, Ezekiel Institute of Ministry (EIM) was given birth. With only the existing ministers and leaders of Shalom Christian Community Church, along with one member from one of our sister churches, God launched us into a world of discovery and expanded knowledge.

Ezekiel was incorporated by the state of North Carolina, August 14TH 2003 under the umbrella of Shalom Christian Community Church. Ezekiel Institute of Ministry has been declared by the appropriate state authority exempt from the requirements of licensure, under provisions of North Carolina general statues section (G. S.) 116-15(d) for exemption from licensure with respect to religious education. Exemption from licensure is not based upon assessment of program quality under established license and standards.

Ezekiel institute of ministry is a private Christian biblical college whose principal focus is biblical studies in both undergraduate and graduate education. These studies are extended through the associate, bachelor, master and doctoral programs. Its primary mission is to integrate Christian faith and practice with academic excellence.

Ezekiel institute of ministry is diverse in its curriculum. It is a learner centered institution where classroom teaching is valued. The college offers more than 60 76 classes with an accumulation of 406 credit hours inclusive of all four degrees.

The Institute was founded on sound Biblical Doctrines as outlined in the inspired Word of God, known as scripture. It was and continues to be undergirded with love and a passion for excellence in Kingdom Establishment.

It was given the name “Ezekiel” based on the teachings of the Prophet Ezekiel studied in the Hebrew Bible. His name (Ezekiel) means “strengthened”. Ezekiel’s message is intended for all generations, including our present generation.

The purpose of Ezekiel’s prophecies was primarily twofold: However, our focus is on his second purpose.

  1.  To sustain the faith of God’s remnant in exile concerning the restoration of his covenant people and the final glory of his Kingdom. The prophet also emphasized the personal responsibility of each individual before God rather than passing off the exilic judgement as simply the result of their ancestors’ sins.

We believe, that, students who complete their course of study at Ezekiel will not only strive to restore the covenant in God’s people, and be strengthened in their beliefs, but that they will take personal responsibility before God for their leadership in Kingdom Establishment.

The curriculum at Ezekiel is competitive with any Biblical Studies Institution in the area. The faculty and staff are academically and spiritually equipped to teach, advise or counsel anyone who is willing to study and show themselves approved unto God, a workman need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.
