MASTER
One credit requires 15 classroom hours.
A three-credit course requires 45 classroom hours. For each credit hour earned on-campus, and equal amount of off-campus work shall be required.
Master’s Degree Requires:
- Requires the student to have a degree with a 3.0 GPA before acceptance.
- Requires the student to earn at least 30 semester hours credit with a 2.50 GPA in addition beyond the bachelor’s degree. (No more than 1/3 of the hours may come from the thesis. Required courses that have already been taken in the bachelor’s program may be replaced with electives.)
- Requires a graduate-level thesis of at least 50 typed pages.
- Requires an oral defense of the thesis.
